1st and most importantly is your mindset.
Have a positive attitude toward everything. You are creating new habits with your thoughts about yourself- believing in your ability to accomplish your goals, new habits with your relationship toward food and your body. It will take time so be patient with yourself. I like to think of it like this-you have a child learning how to walk. How are you going to talk to the child when he falls? You would encourage him to get up and go again you would be kind to him...Why? because you know that he will eventually walk you would never give up on him. That is how you are to be with yourself. Always be positive!!!!
