I first became involved in fitness in my 20s, spending countless hours doing cardio - step classes,
sprint drills, running, and the occasional weight workout. At the time, my diet was far from ideal. I had a sweet tooth, ate out often, and was essentially trying to out-train poor nutrition. While I managed to maintain
my weight, I never achieved the results I truly wanted.
In my 30s I decided to make a change and I cleaned up my diet and shifted my focus from excessive cardio to strength training. Almost immediately I fell
in love with the way lifting made me feel - strong and confident. Over time, I watched my body transform and I was hooked.
A couple of weeks before my 40th birthday life took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with cancer and had to begin treatment right away. I spent my 40th birthday in the hospital. I was feeling stressed, anxious and unable to keep up with regular workouts.
During that time, I gained weight and knew I needed support to find my way back.
That's when I sought the guidance of a trainer here at Florida Fitness Concepts. That experience reignited my passion for fitness and inspired me to help other women achieve the same transformation.
Today I am grateful to be a part of the team here, where I have the opportunity to help other women
feel strong and confident, and empower them to reach
their goals and build a healthy, sustainable lifestyle.
I will create a customized workout tailored to your needs and goals, while providing the accountability and support needed to stay on track. I want every woman I work with to feel empowered - not just
by reaching her goals, but by building the strength and
confidence to maintain them for life.
